Pediatric Care Options
From home visits to 24/7 virtual telehealth and mobile diagnostics, we’ve got your little ones covered.
Home visits provide you and your child timely, in-person access to professional medical services. These well-child visits are for routine exams and minor issues including screenings and assessments with a focus on prevention, growth tracking and development to identify any areas of concern. Because in-home, well-child visits require in-person evaluation, they are not conducted via virtual telehealth sessions.
- Colds and flus
- Allergies and asthma
- Rashes and other skin issues
- Hearing and vision issues
- Routine vaccinations
- Preventive care
- Sports physicals
- Help with school health forms
24/7 Virtual Telehealth
Many pediatric illnesses can be diagnosed and treated quickly and easily through virtual telehealth visits. Minor ailments and potentially contagious conditions are best evaluated through this medium. It provides immediate, personal medical attention without the risk of exposing others. The following conditions are typically evaluated via telehealth:
- Pink Eye
- Seasonal Allergies
- Rashes, Skin Infections
- Insect Bites
- Cold Symptoms
- Urinary Tract Infections
- Swimmer’s Ear
- Strep Throat
- Flu Symptoms
Some pediatric check-ups and conditions require laboratory testing. In these cases, Ascend Medical can dispatch our mobile units to perform physicals, administer vaccines, provide immunizations and conduct necessary lab work to ensure quick and accurate evaluations. We provide testing – including Strep tests, Influenza tests and urine analysis – and much more.Schedule an Appointment
